Much like the unique voyage of one’s body and mind through the practice of yoga and Pilates, the National Foundation for Cancer Research follows the path of distinct molecular variables that can create and prevent cancer.  In our respective practices we address the important issues at the root, uniting us to work together to Stretch to the Cure. For more information on the National Foundation for Cancer Research visit www.NFCR.org.

About the Instructor:
Virginia Weiss
’s classes are well rounded, delivering a good balance of strength and play: dynamic sequencing delivered with detailed instruction and a mindful softness, along with a keen eye on proper alignment.

Regardless of what level a student may be at, Virginia makes the class accessible and fun. She cares about her students on many levels, and likes to encourage them to challenge themselves, allowing them to receive all of the physical, mental, and emotional benefits of this practice.

Virginia is a 500-hour certified Yoga Alliance teacher with training from Yogaworks, Santa Monica, CA. She also carries additional training in Children’s Yoga, as well as Restorative and Meditation. She has been enormously enriched by the tutelage of teachers such as Annie Carpenter, Jeanne Heileman, Chad Hamrin, Kia Miller, Jerome Mercier and Lisa Walford and many more.
